About Conception South
Conception South is a remote granite-and-coral boat site off the south side of Conception Island, with boulders, gullies, and swim-throughs that make the dive feel more like a rock maze than a flat reef. It is a site for experienced divers who are comfortable with current and a longer boat run from Mahe. On the right days it rewards with heavy fish traffic, sharks, rays, and clear blue water.
