Seal Colony

Seal Colony is a rugged Kaikoura shore dive built around kelp-covered rocks and small caves. The entry involves a rough walk across a rocky peninsula and a challenging shoreline start before weaving through kelp forest, boulders, and swim-throughs. Multiple entry and exit points let you repeat the dive in different ways or adjust your route. Cold water plus surge and swell often shape conditions, so plan carefully and time the entry.
