Clam City

Clam City is a shallow Palau coral garden known for its giant clam sanctuary, where large Tridacna clams sit among staghorn and Porites formations in easy clear water. The dive usually unfolds as a relaxed tour around the clam beds and surrounding coral patches rather than as a current-driven route, which is why it also works well for snorkellers and newer divers. Planning is simple: it is a short boat trip from Koror and one of the gentler Rock Islands stops, so the main goal is slow observation and careful finning around the clams rather than chasing depth or drift.
