About Barwon Banks
Barwon Banks is the Sunshine Coast's big offshore reef mission, a weather-window site where rocky high points, caves, ledges, bommies, and gutters rise out of deeper water and attract serious pelagic action. It feels very different from the easier local Mooloolaba reefs, rewarding experienced divers who want a longer boat ride, stronger current, and the chance of larger sharks and schooling fish in clear blue water.
