About Ilha da Âncora
Ilha da Âncora is an offshore Búzios boat dive built around rocky structure, blue-water edges, and routes that can feel very different from the protected inner bays. It is usually chosen for guided scuba when sea state is settled, with schooling fish around the reef, regular turtle and ray encounters, and a more exposed open-ocean feel than the beach entries closer to town. Boat-only Búzios site with rocky structure, open-water exposure, and routes that depend heavily on swell, current, and operator judgment.

“I dove at 16 meters deep and it was amazing! The coral reef is beautiful, full of life and colorful fish, and I saw a very big lobster with its huge antennas sticking out of its hole. The water had excellent visibility, making the experience even more special and unforgettable.”

“I dove to a depth of 14 meters and had the incredible chance to see a massive, beautiful eagle ray swimming very close to me. I also spotted a few moray eels and lots of small, colorful reef fish. The visibility was excellent!”
