Taranto (Wreck)

The Taranto (Wreck) is a well-preserved offshore wreck off Dubrovnik near Grebeni, reached by a short boat ride and best handled by advanced scuba divers rather than casual holiday traffic. The wreck gives you a shallow bow for orientation, a long steel profile to work along, and deeper engine and stern sections that demand disciplined gas management and good buoyancy. Sponges, bryozoans, and anemones coat the metal, while mullet, cardinal fish, lobsters, and other wreck life give the site constant movement. Plan it as a proper wreck dive with a local center that can read the weather, choose the line, and keep the ascent conservative.
