About Daedalus Reef
Daedalus Reef is a remote offshore Red Sea reef reached by liveaboard, with steep walls, clear blue water, and a strong pelagic reputation. Hammerheads, oceanic whitetips, mantas, tuna, and other big fish are the reason divers come here, while the reef fish and coral scenery stay interesting when the current eases. It is a serious open-water site rather than an easy sightseeing drift, and the long offshore setting is part of what keeps the reef wild.
