About Muelle Viejo

Muelle Viejo is a shore-access La Palma dive in the old dock area of El Puerto, Tazacorte, with a protected beach entry and a route that runs from shallow water toward the nearby underwater moat. It is a straightforward island shore dive rather than a boat day, so the main call is choosing a calm window and a clean entry. Expect Atlantic life and frequent larger encounters, including groupers, black stingrays, duck-billed morays, triggerfish, and octopus. The site works year-round, with the clearest water and easiest conditions on settled days when the beach entry and shallow route stay most comfortable.
