About Agua Caliente
Agua Caliente is a boat-access Lake Atitlán dive built around a shallow overhead room and bar-like structure in a volcanic freshwater basin. Divers move from the sheltered top section onto the lake slope, with hot vents, fine silt, and bright vegetation adding texture instead of coral. It is best treated as a controlled altitude dive where buoyancy, orientation, and exit planning matter more than current. The fish scene is busy enough to keep the route interesting.
