About Tuffy Canyon
Tuffy Canyon is a boat-access reef and canyon site off Ambergris Caye with a shallow top and more dramatic canyon structure near the neighboring Tackle Box area. It suits newer divers and snorkelers on calm days, with easy reef sections, good visibility, and a mix of common Caribbean fish plus larger reef species around the cut and walls. The site feels more interesting than a plain shallow reef without becoming a demanding current dive.
