About El Tazar
El Tazar is a rocky reef edge off Caleta de Fuste with a split-off tower, narrow gorge, and lava blocks that drop into sand. It works best as a guided boat dive with moderate current and unprotected waves, so the site suits divers who like structure, movement, and a little depth without needing a pure wall specialist profile. The reef is lively rather than delicate, with monkfish, barracudas, groupers, parrotfish, sea bass, and yard eels using the rocks and blue-water edge. It is a year-round dive, but the sea state and current set the tone more than the calendar.
