About Armchair Reef
Armchair Reef is a southwest Grand Cayman reef with a shallow mini-wall feel, an overhanging ledge, sand pockets, and prominent gorgonians along the contour that gave the site its name. Divers usually work the ledge and adjacent sand slowly, looking for resting southern stingrays, nurse sharks under the overhang, schooling jacks, and small macro life tucked into the reef.
