Santa Reef

Santa Reef is a registered-diver artificial reef off Santa Margherita Ligure, used mainly for training and organized clean-up work. It is the town’s easiest dedicated dive site, but it is not a casual open-water entry because access is controlled and the reef is managed through local clubs and events. The reef is shallow enough to stay readable and is best treated as a short, sheltered shore dive rather than a long excursion. Expect a training-site feel with growing marine life on the reef structure and a practical, harbor-side planning profile.
