About Lankan Beyru
Lankan Beyru is a manta-cleaning reef on North Malé Atoll, best known for long manta passes along a sloping coral reef between channels. Access is by boat from Male-area resorts or dive operators, and the site is most reliable in manta season. Divers also see whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, napoleon wrasse, morays, and dense reef fish. The dive is about station-holding and watching the action rather than covering distance, with reef-edge current adding some movement.
