Sesimbra does not operate like island marine parks with a single diver tag. Instead, the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park uses zoning and activity rules, and some organized activities can require authorization. Separately, some Portuguese municipalities charge a per-night tourist tax collected by accommodations.
