Miyaru Kandu

Miyaru Kandu is a boat-only channel dive in northeast Vaavu Atoll with a steep outer wall, overhangs, and coral blocks that hold sharks and other pelagics. The site is built for current-aware drift diving: when the flow is on, you hook in or drift the channel mouth and watch the blue; when it is lighter, the same route opens up ledges, soft corals, and reef life. It is an iconic shark channel rather than a casual reef stroll, and planning around tide and guide timing matters.
