There is no single marine-park tag covering both archipelagos and no one Sardinia-wide tourism levy. Costs depend on how you access each protected area. Authorized dive centers usually organize their commercial park access and may bundle it into the dive price, while independent activities can require separate permits.
La Maddalena's official 2026 platform lists an individual scuba authorization at EUR 5 per day or EUR 75 per calendar year, plus length- and duration-based pleasure-boat permits. Tavolara uses its own authorization, zoning, buoy, and annual-rule system; independent Zone B access is much narrower than center-led access. Municipal accommodation taxes, protected-trail tickets, guide fees, and passenger boats are separate. Recheck every amount before payment because annual park rules and local taxes can change.
