Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the main international gateway. Vinkeveen is roughly 27 km away by road, and the core lakes sit close to the A2 corridor between Amsterdam and Utrecht. A rental car is the most practical choice for cylinders, drysuits and multiple shore sites. Travelers carrying light gear can combine airport rail with local bus or taxi connections, but routes and frequencies should be checked in 9292 immediately before travel. Spiegelplas lies east of Vinkeveen near Nederhorst den Berg, so a two-lake itinerary is much easier with private transport.
Self-drive transport is strongly recommended for a dive-focused itinerary. Parking at Zandeiland 4 is controlled and can fill on busy weekends; follow signs and never improvise roadside unloading.
