Naufragio Blackadder

Naufragio Blackadder is a shallow wreck off Boa Viagem that draws divers for its intact outline, history, and marine life. The ship lies against a reefed shoreline, with the bow, midships, and remaining masts still readable enough to follow as a single easy wreck tour. The site is usually dived with a local operator and works best when the sea is calm and the tide is friendly, because orientation is easiest when visibility is steady and the wreck stays in its sheltered bay. Shoals, seahorses, angelfish, surgeonfish, crabs, shrimp, and batfish use the structure as cover, while the stern is fragile enough that penetration there should be avoided.
