About Ras Za`atar
Ras Za`atar is the northernmost dive site in Ras Mohamed National Park and marks the southern entrance to the bay of Mersa Bareika. It’s where a steep wall with caves and overhangs meets a gentler sloping bay. The site features colorful coral heads and a wall lined with large overhangs and dark gullies, with sea fans, gorgonians, and occasional black coral.
