About Yongala Dive
Small-group, two-dive trips to the S.S. Yongala wreck, private charters, equipment hire and the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course.
Dive the historic S.S. Yongala wreck with Yongala Dive, a small PADI 5 Star operation based at Alva Beach near Ayr, Queensland. A beach launch and approximately 30-minute boat ride aboard the Yongala Express take you to the wreck in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Our day trips include two dives, with a maximum of 12 divers per trip. Explore a remarkable concentration of marine life around the wreck, with experienced dive staff and equipment hire available. We also offer private charters and the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course.
Trips are for certified divers who meet the requirements published on our website, including the applicable certification, experience, recent-diving and minimum-age requirements. Wreck penetration is not permitted.
