Deep shore dive with wrecks and steep walls.
Deep shore dive with wrecks and steep walls.
Hechenberg is a shore-entry Achensee dive built around a marked trail of steep walls, a Madonna statue, and the deep Dodge/Opel Blitz wreck. It is a technical-leaning lake dive with a controlled approach and little fish life at depth, so the main attraction is the structure and route itself. Plan it as a permit-bound site with a long shore approach and a calm, highly structured underwater line rather than a casual sightseeing dive.

Not a meaningful snorkel site; the draw is the deep wreck trail and steep wall sections.
