Vapor de Baixo is a compact offshore wreck off Olinda in Recife's wreck belt, a steam vessel with side paddle wheels and a riveted iron hull. Most of the body is buried, but the engines, boilers, and wheel structure still make the site easy to read underwater. It is best approached as a structure-focused wreck dive rather than a big-growth reef dive.
