About Mushroom Rock

Mushroom Rock is a Samal Island reef-and-rock dive in Davao Gulf with a distinctive mushroom-shaped formation and a mix of coral growth, small fish, and occasional larger visitors. The main line of the dive stays around the formation, its overhangs, and the surrounding reef, so buoyancy control matters more than distance. Plan for a guide-led dive because the current can pick up and the site is more comfortable when conditions stay steady.
