Maona is a storm-sunk wreck, around 40 m long, that was originally towed as it had no engine. The wreck lies with the top around 16 m and the seabed around 21 m, making it an engaging wreck dive. Divers should maintain good buoyancy control while exploring the site. The wreck attracts abundant fish life, with sightings such as conger eels, lobsters, nudibranchs, and scorpionfish.
