Union Island and Tobago Cays

Most travelers reach the destination one of three ways:

• Fly into Argyle International Airport on Saint Vincent and connect onward by SVG Air or private charter to Union Island or Canouan.
• Fly into Barbados and connect onward, which SVG Air currently promotes as one of the easiest ways into the Grenadines.
• Arrive by yacht or charter boat and clear the appropriate formalities before moving south.

Tobago Cays itself is only accessible by sea. In practice, Union Island is the most useful human gateway because it combines the airport, Clifton jetty, customs, provisioning, dive logistics, and quick boat access to the park.

Union Island is small enough that walking works in Clifton, but taxis are the practical tool for airport transfers, beach runs, and west-coast moves. Discover SVG notes that a small number of public minibuses also operate on Union.
