Roman mosaics, volcanic walls, and island-blue water in one ferry-linked gulf
Key fee: Baia guided certified-diver visit
EUR 40 for one dive, EUR 75 for two dives, or EUR 100 for three dives on the reviewed booking page
Confirm these fees before you book so your operator plan and day budget match what you will pay onsite.
There is no single Bay of Naples arrival levy or universal per-diver marine-park tag. Costs are fragmented: Baia sells guided visit products, Regno di Nettuno permissions are largely handled by authorized operators, Naples and Ischia collect accommodation tax, and ferry tickets to Capri or Procida can include a municipal landing contribution. Verify prices at booking because equipment, boat transfer, park admission, private transport, exemptions, and local taxes are not bundled the same way.

| Baia guided snorkeling | Operator price; confirm current total before booking Per guided excursion | Snorkelers and non-divers joining a guided submerged-park visit | Authorized Baia park operator | No scuba certification is required for the snorkeling format, but access remains guided and scheduled. Ask whether wetsuit, mask, fins, flotation, boat transfer, and admission are included. |
| Regno di Nettuno guided-diving authorization | Handled by the authorized dive center; no universal individual diver tag was verified Covered by the operator's current authorization and the day's permitted zone | Guided scuba in the Ischia and Procida MPA | Book through a dive center listed by Area Marina Protetta Regno di Nettuno | The 2026 tariff sheet lists diving authorization at operator level, including EUR 200 and EUR 300 categories. Travelers should not interpret that administrative tariff as a personal park ticket. |
| Regno di Nettuno private-vessel anchoring authorization | From EUR 10 weekly for qualifying nonresidents; ordinary nonresident schedules begin with monthly vessel-class rates Weekly, monthly, half-year, or annual depending on eligibility and vessel class | Private recreational boat users, not ordinary passengers on an authorized dive-center boat | BlueDiscovery or the MPA authorization office | The permit is not valid merely because payment was made; the MPA issues the authorization after review. Use designated rules and never anchor on protected habitat. Check the 2026 tariff PDF for the exact vessel category and proof required. |
| Naples accommodation tax | EUR 4 to EUR 6 per person per night from 1 May 2026, depending on accommodation category Up to 14 consecutive nights under the current municipal schedule | Nonresident overnight guests older than 14 unless an exemption applies | Collected by the accommodation or participating booking intermediary | The Comune di Napoli publishes the 2026 category table and exemptions framework. Five-star and four-star hotels and short rentals are EUR 6 per eligible night from 1 May 2026; lower categories follow the official graduated schedule. Confirm the line item on the booking or at check-in. |
| Ischia accommodation tax | Varies under the current municipal schedule; request the exact amount from the property Per eligible overnight stay under the Comune di Ischia regulation | Eligible overnight guests staying within the Comune di Ischia | Collected by the accommodation by departure and recorded through Paytourist | The official municipality page requires lodging providers to tell guests the amount and exemptions and collect the tax by departure. Ischia island contains several municipalities, so a property elsewhere on the island may follow a different local rule. |
| Capri landing contribution | EUR 5 per person from 1 April to 31 October; EUR 2.50 from 1 November to 31 March Per eligible arrival on Capri under the recurring annual schedule | Passengers landing on Capri unless a municipal exemption applies | Added to the eligible ferry or hydrofoil ticket | The official Capri and Anacapri act sets the seasonal amounts, and current carrier tariff pages show the landing ticket as an added passenger charge. It is not a separate marine-park permit. Verify exemptions and the final ticket breakdown before payment. |
| Procida landing contribution | EUR 3.50 on the current Caremar passenger-rate page Per eligible arrival on Procida | Passengers landing on Procida unless a municipal exemption applies | Added to the eligible ferry or hydrofoil ticket | Procida's official regulation uses a landing contribution rather than an accommodation tax. The current carrier tariff confirms the displayed supplement, but exemptions and the final charge should be checked on the selected ticket. |
