When To Go
Season planner for Flores Island
Flores diving and snorkeling are possible year-round, but conditions are strongly seasonal and weather-driven. Late summer usually brings the clearest water (often beyond 30 m) and the warmest sea temperatures (peaking around 24°C to 25°C). Spring is a mix: migrating whales can be a topside highlight, but visibility may drop closer to 10 m to 15 m. Winter and early spring bring bigger Atlantic swell and more cancellations, so plan shorter dive lists and more flexible topside days.
