Fly to Langkawi International Airport (LGK) or use the Kuala Kedah/Kuala Perlis passenger ferries to Kuah. Check dated schedules before arranging connections. Choose accommodation with the actual dive departure in mind: Cenang is useful for its local-island operation; Kuah is relevant to many Payar and mainland-ferry logistics. Do not assume a direct Penang ferry or a particular international route is running without a current timetable.
Use a prearranged driver, taxi, ride-hailing where available or rental car to connect hotels, jetties and land activities. Confirm collection in less central areas and after evening outings.
