Warm-water reefs, an iconic shallow wreck, and easy island excursions from the DR's best-connected beach hub
Key fee: Dominican Republic Tourist Card
USD $10
Confirm these fees before you book so your operator plan and day budget match what you will pay onsite.
Punta Cana does not usually require a Bonaire-style standalone marine park tag for ordinary recreational diving. Instead, the must-plan costs are the national entry formalities and whatever protected-area or logistics fees are bundled into island excursions. Check what your operator includes before assuming a Catalina or Saona day price is all-in.
| Fee | Amount | Applies to | Where to pay | Notes |

| Dominican Republic E-Ticket | Free Required for each air arrival and departure | All air passengers entering or leaving the Dominican Republic | Where to pay | Complete it before travel and save the QR code offline in case airport connectivity is slow. |
