North Sea reefs, kelp gullies and historic wrecks beneath Scotland's seabird cliffs

Most dive groups arrive by road via the A1, then branch to Eyemouth, Coldingham or St Abbs. Berwick-upon-Tweed is the most useful mainline rail gateway, roughly 23 km from St Abbs, with onward taxi or limited bus connections. Reston station is closer to St Abb's Head at roughly 10 km, but its service pattern and last-mile options require careful checking.
Edinburgh Airport is the broadest international gateway; Newcastle International is a credible alternative, especially for travellers connecting through Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin or Dubai. Public transport from either airport needs multiple legs. Dive teams with cylinders, weights or drysuit bags normally save substantial friction by hiring a car, arranging a club vehicle or pre-booking a transfer sized for equipment.
A car or club van is the practical default. It links accommodation, St Abbs Harbour, Eyemouth Harbour, Coldingham Bay, gas fills and weather-driven alternative sites without depending on sparse rural timetables.
