Adriatic walls, island coves, and wild limestone coast from one historic gateway
Pick an activity mode to compare signature sites, skill fit, and gear planning notes before you lock your trip.
Kornati Diving Center in Zaglav and other island operators use day boats to connect local training reefs, the outer Dugi Otok coast, and regulated Telascica sites. The park's standout dives are limestone walls with red gorgonians, holes, small caves, Posidonia, and a broad Adriatic fish community. Sestrica Mala offers a funnel-like wall, Korotan adds a small cave and a drop toward 35 m, while the Garmenjak sites combine ledges, caverns, and deeper terrain. Beyond the park, Golubinka Cave, Brbinjscica, and operator-listed wreck trips broaden a week. This is not an independent shore-diving destination. Boats, permits, weather, and the center's daily site decision structure the experience.
A buoyed Telascica site with a funnellike wall, a plateau from roughly {{ 10 | distance:m }} to {{ 20 | distance:m }}, red gorgonians, and chances for morays, scorpionfish, bream, lobster, and octopus.
The wall begins around {{ 7 | distance:m }} to {{ 8 | distance:m }}, includes a small cave around {{ 24 | distance:m }} to {{ 27 | distance:m }}, and reaches approximately {{ 35 | distance:m }} on the commonly described route.
Porous shallows from about {{ 8 | distance:m }} to {{ 15 | distance:m }} lead to a wall that extends toward {{ 58 | distance:m }}, with Posidonia, groupers, octopus, morays, lobster, schooling fish, and possible amberjack or bonito.
A hole near {{ 10 | distance:m }}, a semicave around {{ 23 | distance:m }}, and deeper features create a layered advanced dive with lobster, forkbeard, scorpionfish, grouper, moray, and dentex.
Operator Checklist
Book Telascica dives through an authorized club or center and ask whether the quoted rate includes the park visitor ticket, boat supplement, cylinders, weights, gas, and equipment. The official park tariff retrieved in September 2026 is still labeled 2025, so reconfirm all fees. Reserve nitrox, stages, rebreather consumables, or uncommon sizes before reaching the island. Keep at least one weather-reserve day, especially for outer-coast caves or wrecks. The skipper and park rules control the final site, and conservation closures or rough water take priority over a wish list.
