Sheltered inner-bay wreck dive with easy navigation.
Sheltered inner-bay wreck dive with easy navigation.
Naufrágio Pinguino is a compact wreck in calmer inner-bay water, making it one of the more approachable heritage dives around Ilha Grande. The appeal is the structure itself and the fish life that gathers around it, with easier navigation than the more exposed outer-island sites. Pinguino is usually chosen for a calmer boat wreck dive where the route stays straightforward and the wreck, not heavy current, is the main attraction.
