Ponta do Alvo follows the old pier remains on the Sítio Forte side of Ilha Grande, mixing submerged structure with a rocky point route instead of a simple sand patch. Divers usually come here for the character of the old installation and the chance of slower macro-style searching around the structure. Ponta do Alvo is a structure-focused site where route choice depends on how much water movement is wrapping the point and how easy the old pier remains are to work.
