Gorgone City is a deep, technical gorgonian site in the Riou archipelago off Marseille. The route favors a careful boat run and a steady descent onto hard-bottom relief and a steep reef-and-wall feel rather than easy, shallow cruising. Its appeal is the white gorgonian habitat and the small invertebrate life around it, so it suits experienced divers who plan for changing visibility and water movement.
