Shallow rocky plateau off Leucate with mixed Mediterranean life.
Shallow rocky plateau off Leucate with mixed Mediterranean life.
Guided logistics are the safe default because the site sits on an exposed section of coast.
Les deux tours is a shallow rocky plateau opposite the two towers visible from the Leucate cliffs. The terrain is low relief rather than a wall, so the dive feels like a relaxed sightseeing route across rock, sand, and small ledges. On calm days it suits easy scuba and snorkeling, with regular Mediterranean fish, octopus, conger eel, scorpionfish, blennies, and electric rays.

Safety Notes
Choose calm conditions, follow briefing, and expect the rocky plateau to feel less forgiving when wind or swell builds.
Access Restrictions

Scuba Diving
Shallow rocky plateau dive with a maximum depth around 10–12 m and low-relief structure.
Freediving
Shallow relief makes calm-day freediving plausible, but the exposed setting means conditions matter more than the depth alone.
Snorkeling
Best for calm-day snorkeling close to the rocky structure, where the mixed fish life is easiest to spot.
