How DiveJourney makes money

DiveJourney is free for travelers to explore. This page explains where revenue comes from and how commercial labels are used.

We currently make money in three main ways:

  1. Paid tools and visibility products for dive shops and operators
  2. Featured placements that are clearly labeled
  3. Referral revenue from selected third-party partners on relevant pages

On some pages, DiveJourney may link to external booking or insurance partners. If you click, request a quote, or complete a purchase through one of those links or modules, DiveJourney may earn referral revenue.

External bookings, insurance quotes, policies, claims, cancellations, refunds, and customer support are handled by the named third-party provider under that provider's own terms and policies.

DiveJourney does not automatically rank options based only on payout. We try to place partner offers where they fit the trip-planning intent of the page.

Commercial labels

When commercial relationships appear on the site, DiveJourney uses clear labels to separate local operator placements from external referral partners.

  • Featured Local Operator
  • External Booking Partner
