Are there facilities for L'Esquillade?

No on-site facilities. Support comes from the dive boat and operator rather than from the site itself.

Do I need a local operator for L'Esquillade?

Yes. A local operator is the practical way to manage the crossing, site timing, and changing offshore conditions.

How do I reach L'Esquillade?

L'Esquillade is boat only, so reach it through a local dive center or skipper that can handle the crossing from Île du Levant.

How strong are the currents at L'Esquillade?

Currents are a defining feature of L'Esquillade, so the dive should be planned around current windows and conservative boat timing.

Is L'Esquillade suitable for beginner divers?

What is L'Esquillade best for?

L'Esquillade is best for experienced boat divers who want rugged relief, deep structure, and a real current-management plan.

What marine life can I expect at L'Esquillade?

Expect reef life on the rock and posidonia, plus the chance of larger pelagic fish near the deep drop-off.

When is L'Esquillade best to dive?

Winter is the better window because calmer seas and better visibility show up more often, though the site still stays weather-sensitive.
