La cigale DRAMONT is a rocky Cap Dramont boat dive with rich life.
La cigale DRAMONT is the Cap Dramont sec around Île d'Or, a rocky boat dive built around a spiral line over a surface-visible rock. The site offers clear Mediterranean water, castagnoles in the shallows, and a deeper set of rock faces where groupers, barracuda, morays, congers, and crustaceans gather. It is best treated as an organized boat dive, with the surface layer feeling less comfortable when the sea is stirred up.

Reported Depth
0m - 40m
Depth Note
Surface-visible rock tops descend to just over 40 m in a spiral around the sec.
Best Season
Late spring to autumn is the most comfortable window, though the site is dived year-round.
Typical Conditions
Clear Mediterranean water, weak current, and plenty of fish around the rock line; comfort drops after mistral or when the surface layer turns brisk.
Site conditions, restrictions, and access requirements.
Safety Notes
The shallow top is straightforward, but the deeper spiral and cold layer above the sec reward tight buoyancy and an organized boat plan.
Access Restrictions
Boat access is the normal approach, and park rules apply at the site.
Legal Notes
The site sits under Parc Régional Naturel de l'Estérel management, so follow protected-area and operator instructions.

Scuba Diving
Boat route around a surface-visible sec with a readable shallow top, then deeper rock faces and fish pockets. Best with steady buoyancy and calm seas.
Freediving
Only the shallow top makes sense for freediving; the main route is deeper and better left to scuba.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is limited to the surface rock and calm-water viewing; the site is mainly a scuba dive.
