Beginner-friendly Réunion coral plateau and drop-off.
Petit Tombant is a shallow coral plateau and small drop-off off L'Etang-Salé on Réunion's west coast, reached by a short boat ride behind the barrier reef. It is a beginner-friendly training site with enough coral texture and reef life to keep snorkelers, new divers, and instructors busy, while still offering leaf fish, nudibranchs, turtles, and the occasional dolphin sighting.
