Boat access and current planning make local guides the practical default.
Minerva Ledge is a large offshore reef ledge in the Andamans that is usually dived as a drift or boat dive. Flat coral gardens roll into deeper edges packed with fusiliers, snappers, turtles, groupers, and occasional pelagics, so one pass only covers part of it. Strong current is the whole point of the site, and the best dives are the ones where you plan the drift first and then let the reef move past you.

Scuba Diving
Plan it as a current-driven reef dive with good buoyancy, a clear drift plan, and controlled ascent discipline.
Freediving
Not a freedive target because the currents and boat logistics make scuba the practical mode.
Snorkeling
Not a routine snorkel site; the reef is best experienced as a current-managed scuba dive.
