Shallow Aqaba reef with three pinnacles and a standout gorgonian fan.
Gorgon I in Aqaba is a shallow coral reef built around three distinct pinnacles, with table-coral patches and a standout gorgonian fan on the main reef. Most dives begin at the sandy mooring, circle the central pinnacle with its cleaning station and schooling reef fish, then traverse to the other pinnacles before returning along the reef edge. Shore or boat access makes it flexible for training, snorkeling, and relaxed reef tours. Plan for careful buoyancy and gentle finning to protect the coral and keep the return to the mooring in mind for the exit.
