Appa Thila is a classic Maldivian inner-atoll reef with a soft-coral terrace on the west side, small overhangs, and the kind of shallow structure that rewards relaxed, photo-friendly diving. It is a boat dive with enough life to keep beginners entertained while still giving experienced divers a proper reef run, including octopus, fusiliers, reef sharks, turtles, and stingrays when luck cooperates. The best part of the site is the shallower reef, where the scenery is richest and the profile stays easy to manage.
