About Mainit
Mainit is a current-swept reef in Anilao with a triangular layout, dense coral, sea fans, and big-fish action. The dive is usually boat-based and often feels like a moving-water drift, with downcurrents and upwellings shaping the plan. It is accessible year-round, but the current and depth make it a dive for experienced divers who want a challenge rather than a cruise. When the water is moving, Mainit rewards careful positioning and good timing.
