Sauwandarek is a sheltered Raja Ampat jetty dive where the shallow reef begins around the pier and then opens into a wider coral landscape. It is known for giant clams, very large turtles, schooling fish, and a calm, camera-friendly feel that works equally well for snorkeling, freediving, and easy scuba when the tide is right. The site is a compact, high-reward bay dive that stays interesting from the surface down into the reef.
