About Meteor, Arguineguin, Gran Canaria
The Meteor (also known as the El Pajar wreck) is the remains of a Russian hydrofoil that sank in the early 2000s. It lies at the entrance to a commercial port and has been partially destroyed in an effort to discourage diving, but the site still attracts divers.
