Rocky coast dive with easy snorkel access.
Rocky coast dive with easy snorkel access.
S’Agulla is a rocky Blanes outcrop dive with granite blocks, a shallow entry zone, and a profile that can stretch out to moderate depth. It works well as a relaxed coast dive or snorkel session, with good-visibility windows, easy-to-read rocky terrain, and the usual Mediterranean mix of octopus, moray eels, grouper, nudibranchs, and other small-life surprises.
Site Conditions
Safety Notes
Plan this as a rocky-coast dive, not a calm-pool entry. Keep an eye on sea state, avoid the granite blocks when the swell picks up, and maintain steady buoyancy in the shallows.
Access Restrictions
Choose calm-sea windows and use local guidance for the rocky entry. If the sea is up, treat the site as conditions-dependent rather than automatic.
Legal Notes
Follow local coastal access rules and site guidance, and avoid damaging the rocky habitat and posidonia. Keep clear of any marked marine activity lanes.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Depth range of 0–22 m makes it suitable for general recreational scuba diving.
Freediving
The shallow profile and snorkeling suitability make controlled freediving plausible on calm days, but it is still best treated as a coastal rock site with careful sea-state checks.
Snorkeling
Described as an ideal place for snorkeling, with good visibility.
