Banana Bay sits on the east side of an island and features a sandy bottom with hard coral reef structure. The bay area is shallow to moderate depth, with a steep drop-off available farther from the beach. The reef hosts a variety of small reef fish, and the bay can occasionally see larger pelagic visitors such as manta rays and whale sharks.
