Soldier's Cabin Bay - South is a boat-only reef on the west side of Chuang Island in the Samesarn area, with shore landing not permitted. The shallow reef and rubble lead into a deeper silty bottom, making the site easy to navigate for beginners while still rewarding slow macro-focused dives and careful buoyancy around the sand line. Winter tends to be the cleanest and calmest window, especially for unhurried fun dives.
