Your Dive Log Now Builds a Passport

July was mostly about the dive log. It got a full rebuild, wildlife tagging is finally live, and your logged dives now fill out actual passport books on your profile. A lot shipped around community, destination reviews, mobile, and shop tools too. Here is what you can use now:

📕 Dive Passport books - this one is just fun. Your profile now has a Country Passport and a Destination Passport, both filled automatically from your logged dives. 🤿 A much better dive log - the logging flow has been fully rebuilt. Start with the spot and your rating, then add the dive details, wildlife, photos, conditions, and buddies. You can make the spot review public or keep it private, skip anything that does not apply, and recover a draft if you leave halfway through. 🐠 Wildlife sightings - I said back in March that wildlife tagging was coming. It took longer than planned, but it is finally live. Tag the species you saw while logging a dive and the sighting becomes part of your log and profile. It also connects the wildlife to the spot and destination where it was seen, which should make the wildlife guides much more useful as more sightings come in. 🫂 More divers are showing up - setting your homebase is still the most important thing you can do. That is how DiveJourney connects you to nearby divers, buddy matching, community events, and trips. 🌍 Destination reviews - you can now review an entire diving destination, edit the review later, or withdraw it. Public destination summaries wait until there is enough diver feedback because one opinion should not define an entire place. Destination search was also cleaned up across languages so the result you click actually matches the guide that opens. 👉 https://divejourney.io/destinations

🏪 A bunch for dive shops - shop owners can now manage translations for their profiles and courses directly. Shop dashboards, billing, analytics, settings, linked spots, and public profiles also work more consistently across languages. Shops can be listed in the marketplace without needing to become a paid partner first. 👉 https://divejourney.io/dive-shops

⚡ Other stuff - dive logs can now be exported as CSV or UDDF. If map search cannot find a spot, there is a path to request or add it. Mobile improvements and a solid amount of performance improvements overall. Destination pages, static maps, and email notifications also got a solid reliability pass.
